Customers, Announcements & Pages: Four Boring Updates That Quietly Delete An Hour Of Admin

Big features get the headlines. Small ones get the hours back.
Here are four that shipped since August that nobody will make a video about, and that you will use every single day.
The Customers module got rebuilt
Shipped 8 September. Web and API.
The customer list is now a proper working screen. A row of tiles across the top tells you what you actually have: total customers, active, inactive, businesses, individuals, how many were added in the last 30 days.
Then the two tiles that will make you wince.
Missing email. Missing mobile.
Click a tile and the list filters to it. Export and bulk actions follow the same filter.
Read that twice, because it is the whole update.

Most operators have never measured the state of their customer data. They know it is "a bit messy". They have no number on it. So it never gets fixed, because you cannot put a task on a vibe.
Now it is a number, on a tile, that you can click, filter, export and fix in one pass. One focused afternoon with that screen beats most CRM migrations.
It is also exposed through the API now, which matters if you are wiring Eaco into anything else.
Announcements can carry files
Shipped 14 September. Web and mobile.
Announcements now have an Attachments field under the message. Add as many files as you want, any type. PDFs, images, video, spreadsheets, documents. Remove them before you post if you change your mind. Scheduled announcements work the same way and the files go out when it sends.
They turn up in three places. In the web app, listed under the message with their size. In the mobile app, tap to open. And attached to the announcement email, so people have the file without opening Eaco at all. Anything too big to email arrives as a download link instead, so the email still gets through.
Here is why it matters. The policy update. The new roster. The site map. The updated SWMS.
You used to announce it in Eaco, then email the file separately. Two messages, two chances to be missed, and no clean way to show who got what.
Now it is one message, to exactly the audience you picked, and the file goes with it.

The field is optional. An announcement without files behaves exactly as it did before.
Page Documents grew up
Both shipped 11 August.
Indentation. Tab to indent, Shift Tab to un-indent. You can only go one level deeper than the element above it, which sounds like a restriction and is actually the thing that stops your documents turning into a ransom note.
Multiline select. Select across multiple lines in a Page Document and act on the lot.
That is it. That is the whole update.
And yet if you write SOPs, scopes of works, induction docs or anything with a nested structure in Eaco Pages, you already know those two were the difference between writing in Eaco and copying it out of Word afterwards.
The theme
Every one of these four is the same move. Take something people were doing in two steps and make it one.
Two messages becomes one. Two systems becomes one. Two guesses about your data becomes one number you can act on.
That is not a strategy you can put on a billboard. It is just what good software does when nobody is watching.
The cheapest hour you will spend this month
Book a demo and bring your customer list.
We will show you your own missing email and missing mobile counts inside ten minutes. Not a sample. Yours.
Most operators find a good chunk of their list is uncontactable. If that is you, you have been buying leads to replace customers you already had.
